Meet Ken
Ken Kyger brings over 15 years of full-stack development expertise to Safe Zones as Chief Technology Officer. A self-taught developer from St. Louis, Missouri, Ken has built mission-critical systems for Fortune 500 companies including JP Morgan Chase and Disney, developed software integrating ATAK and encrypted communications radios for the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), and was an instrumental developer on the very first Florida House of Representatives mobile application. He has also led technical teams for innovative startups across multiple continents, with extensive experience spanning the complete technology spectrum from mobile and embedded systems to cloud infrastructure and enterprise solutions.

Ken's relationship with Safe Zones began over 10 years ago, where he has been instrumental in developing and evolving the platform through various iterations addressing vehicle, workplace, and school safety challenges. His deep understanding of the Safe Zones mission and technology, combined with his broad technical leadership experience, led to his appointment as CTO in 2025. Ken's commitment to building solutions that create real-world impact aligns perfectly with Safe Zones' patented technology and mission to enhance safety while fostering better learning environments.
