Meet Laura
Laura is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business ownership, nonprofit leadership, sales, training, and community advocacy.

Her career spans over four decades across diverse industries:

Owner/Franchisee of two Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt stores in Lake Mary, Florida for 8 years, she oversaw all aspects of operations including site development, staff management, financial reporting, and community marketing.

Founder and Executive Director of CourtWatch Florida for 5 years, a volunteer-driven nonprofit that monitored domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse cases in court. She was awarded Harbor House’s “Hands of Peace” award and the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center’s “Summit Award” for her advocacy on behalf of domestic violence survivors.

With nearly 20 years at Electrical Marketing Services, Inc., a manufacturers’ rep agency, her roles encompassed inside sales, training, product manager, administrative duties, and marketing.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. During her free time, she enjoys spending time on the beach, jigsaw puzzles, reading, Bible study groups, cheering on her granddaughters’ softball teams, and true crime shows. An empty nester (4 children & 2 grandchildren), she resides in Cocoa Beach, Florida with her husband Nick.
